Has anyone here successfully installed XGM over an install of TE 3.1?
How nice would it be to play XGM with the addition of TE skins in places XGM hasn't touched!

I actually tried it last nite and initially only got 1 ctd, I managed to work through it and got the game running.
It's pretty interesting, it's a mix between TE and XGM. TE/XGM unit cards, TE faction banners, XGM campaign map.
The strange part is, TE Unit Cards show up, but not the skins, it's all Vanilla skins mixed with XGM skins. I had a feeling the EDU or DMB would have to be updated.
Also, I only did a custom battle, i'm sure a campaign would prove to be buggy.
You would need to edit descr_model_battle.txt for the skins to show up.

I'll have to enjoy these great mods seperately(unless I somehow get extremely motivated!)
Thanks Lusted and DBH for clearing things up.
Lusted's skins are nice. You could try doing something like this:
Unlikely to work: Start with a fresh install of RTW. Install TE, then install XGM, then try running XGM. You might get lucky and find that XGM works while TE replaces many of the original skins.
More likely to work: Start with a fresh copy of RTW, and a fresh install of XGM. Copy the data\models_unit folder from TE into the main RTW data directory and into the xgm\data folder. This might not work due to certain model differences, but if it does work you would probably get to see lots of the TE skins in use.
More likely to work: Same as above, but only copy the data\models_unit folder into the RTW data folder. This probably will work, but you might get rather patchy results in terms of which skins and models get used.
Hey, thanks for the suggestions DBH. I'll give it a try tonite.
