Rome: Total War hasn't installed properly.
I bought the game when it first came out and it worked fine on my old pc. Now I'm on Windows 7, have directx11, and meet all system requirements. I installed the game, and then when i try and play it, absolutely nothing happens. If I click the shortcut, I get this message: 'Windows is searching for RomeTW.exe. To locate the file yourself, click browse.' And when I click browse, the game just isn't there... There is the gamespy icon, and a folder labelled 'Docs', but not the actual game. Interestingly, upon installation, I was not prompted to input the CD Key. Could anyone help, please?

Have you uhid all files and folders in Folder Options?

Thanks for the prompt reply. However, I've now got the game working. I left the error message on the screen for a while, whilst copying it to relate on this forum, and by the time i went to exit it, a new one had replaced it, offering to fix the problem. I pressed fix, and now the game works. And as ever, it kicks ass XD
