Long loading time

I couldnt get past the loading screen the one where a hoplite stabs principes.I was waiting for 20 MINUTES is that normal?Could it be something with the launcher or because I have Foe

If you're using Pentium 3 definitely normal. If you're using Sandy Bridge not normal.

No I am not using Pentium III but when I remember a bit I think I read something about RTR7 not being compatible with Alex. If thats true how do I remove Alex should I just remove the exe from the RTW folder or something else as well

RTR VII is compatible with barbarian invasion. If you have BI and ALX together than you dont need to remove alx. Are you sure that BI is patched to 1.6 ? Also try to run with direct shortcut not with launcher.

And what would that do? The launcher is not much more than a shortcut with some other options. The launcher itself might not work in some cases (like no text on buttons in rare occasions or a non Windows OS etc), but that surely doesn't have any impact on how RTW runs...

Ive started again and this time it went a bit faster about 10 Mins but I think that its still too much how much does it take for you guys to get past the load screen.Oh and BI is patched to 1.6

It takes 1-1.5min. What is you CPU spec? For me loading screen is bit longer than any other mod( EB has same for me ).

i'm not sure what we are talking about. Is it the load screen from desktop? (about 45 secs to 1min for me) or when you launch a campaign (about 30 secs and then it runs through the Epirote vs Rome start up)

Alright I dont know is it because I launched the game from the shortcut or something else but the problem has been solved last time I started the game it took about 3 mins thats prety ok for me considering my specs.But thanks to everyone who tried to help me.

Oh and offtopic you guys have made an astonishing mod.Thank you for that too
