    Default WINNERS OF MAARC XXX

    Congratulations to our winners!

It is time to announce the winners of the triple X MAARC, which uncharacteristically had only one week of voting - but a very tough competition!

The first place for MAAARC XXX goes to the author with a most enigmatic name who crafted one of the most enigmatic AAR intros of all time. SeniorBatavianHorse deployed a masterful narrative to tell the tale of The Nowhere Legion. "Where is nowhere?" you may ask. Well, it is somewhere between the Danube and the Black Desert... the rest you need to find out yourself!

Amadeo Vasari, the legendary Italian commander after finding no worthy foe on the continent decided to embark on an adventure in Britain. The last campaign of Hail Caesar! recounts how the Italian Empire once again rose from the ashes because of one man, well maybe two if you add the official biographer, Tim1988 who secured the second place with his story.

Where one campaign ends, another one begins (well, with a few hundred years difference to the wrong direction). The Lone Eagle of Britannia is a fascinating reading of what happens to Britannia when the pesky Picts and Saxons are beaten by the locals. ReD_OcToBeR's story ended up in third place, but not before Londinium grew into the Roman jewel of the North.

Finally, congratulations to everybody who submitted AARs and worked very hard to write up these stories! Thank you all who voted, and hopefully we're looking for another round of great AARs in September!

Seconded. It was a close margin and thats the way it should be. Congrats ppl.

Better brush off that Legionary breastplate SBH, you should have a silver medal now.

I think so, i could be wrong if the list is outdated or my math is bad. I was bored last nite and went to find/take a look in the Writer's Lounge.

Wow. Really surprised to finish in the top 3 given the quality of the AARs here. I would have taken anything more than a couple of votes as a success, lol. Thanks to all who voted. I think that's my bronze medal now, so extra happy!

Congratulations also to SeniorBatavianHorse and Red_October as well. Both great AARs worthy of their recognition. +rep

It will take a few days for the staff to verify the medal claims against your background information, permanent address, prior citizenship, social security number etc, but those who deserve it shall receive it!
