Lex Punico Bellum
1. The Senate and the People of Rome declare war against the Republic of Carthage.
2. Consul Poplicola, along with Legio I retake Rhegion from the Republic of Carthage.
3. Consul Merula will remain in Roma to levy Legio II.
4. Upon the creation of that Legio, he will sail to Sardinia to annex the island from Carthage.
5. Upon Senate approval, both Consuls shall then converge upon Sicily to conquer the island for the SPQR, save the free city of Syracuse.
