Re: One of the best....
Also interesting that his Scottish troops followed him the bribe. Not being on the English roster, I would have though they would disband when you bribed him.

Re: One of the best....
If they're also AOR troops then technically they are on the English roster and, if I understand right, would not disband.

Webba you are right about. I migrate to Britain not only for a superstrong trade fortress, but for pikes in 1300 who anyone can recruit too. All, highland pikemans, highlanders and border cavalry are AoR.

Re: One of the best....
NEVER bribe william wallace! waste of money!
he is scripted and will attack you! no matter what!
you cannot turn of the scipt! you can only send him somewhere far far away and hope that the scipt will not be triggered...i do not know if putting him into edinburgh works...
good luck

Re: One of the best....
this is in SS? because in my gameplays I have never encountered wallace!!!
how many turn does it cost you to wait for william to appear? because I assume you have to wait, as in all my campaign I almost always take care of the scots first, they are of course have to be subjugated first before you expand right???

Re: One of the best....
He only appears after a certain date and if the scots have lost regions.
