I'm getting error as well

I just start the tutorial game and when loading it just goes back to desktop with "shogun 2 has stopped working"

can anyone help me with this?

It has been mentioned a few times already. I will para-phrase for the sake of hammering it all in. You need to copy both the "AllClansPlayable.exe" file (it has a tree icon) and the "AllClans" folder into the "total war shogun 2" folder. Then, run the executable file ("AllClansPlayable"), select what clan you want under "Select Clan to play as:". When the clan you want is highlighted, click "LAUNCH". This will copy the necessary file into Shogun 2's data folder and start the game.

Then, when the game has loaded, go into tutorials and select the Chosokabe tutorial campaign. From there, enjoy your new campaign.

@batufb94: to use your screenshot as an example, you have copied over the "AllClansPlayable.exe" file, but you have not copied over the "AllClans" folder. The executable file needs the folder and the files in it.

Hey there mitch, but I have a question... do emerging clans exist in this game such as the Ukita, Toyotomi, Hosokawa, etc and if so which province do they start from?

.Mitch any chance of pointing people in right direction as to what to change in order to change the difficulty of the clan they intend to play as? Normal is very very passive. That way we could try doing it ourselves? Is it possible to edit the save game once we start the campaign? Kudos to you and Dwizzle btw

I've done exactly what you wrote but still getting stopped working error on every clan for some reason

They are both on Normal , and as i said I was wondering as well if there is any way to change it?

Tried to update your game? (is it updated? small chance but still.)

both folder and exe file is located in the base folder of shogun 2 right? Many people puts it in the data folder which is wrong :p (i know you said you did, just hammering it home.)


mmmmmmmm here's what:

Redownload the mod, unzip it on desktop. mark the exe file and the folder, copy. go to shogun 2 base folder and paste the 2 items here. Try to see if it works now.

If not, delete shogun 2 game, redownload it and try again ^^

Oh oh question: Play on windows or mac?

its set to tutorial default: Normal.
