    Default I Need Help With a Petty Problem

    Helo,

    Look at this picture;

    I was wondering if there was any way I could change the color of it? I mean, its too light, sometimes I can't even see it! Any help would be appreciated.

    I can see it just fine, you know. Maybe try adjusting your monitor a bit so you can see it better? Those things are easy to overlook.

    What you have is the windows XP theme, what you want to probably do is switch it to windows classic theme, you do this by going into your display options, and then clicking on themes, and switching to windows classic.

    edit-Is this what you are talking about? It'll help getting rid of all those bright buttons, and the brightness and weirdness of all that neo-crap. Classic style is best.

    Heres what you do.

    Download Firefox:
    http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

    Then download one of its many great skins:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/themes/

    Also you get that extra security with Firefox and tabbed browsing

    Windows classic seems so... old fashioned... I don't like it!

    Well, I'll think about downloading firefox, not too sure though. Anyways, thanks for the speedy help.

    Maybe you could try another colour instead of the blue one? Personaly I use the silver one. It looks very cool, better then the blue and much better then the green.

    You could always stop using explorer.exe and instead use blackbox. Blackbox is a GUI for Windows and other OSes (don't know which ones exactly) that looks pretty nice, is a little hard to get used to but is a fun alternative if you like to try new things. But personaly I like explorer.exe better because it's much easier to use.
