    Hello Darth and DM fans may dark force be with you lol!

    I'm really enjoying DM 7.0.3 just finished my second (first was Julii on h/h) campaign as Seleucids on h/h (best troop lineup imo skins are gorgeous). Beginning was a real challenge cause all my neighbors waged war on my cool Greco-Persian empire but after hard fightin when the dusk disappeared I was quite suprised that I won so quickly (in smth 240 b.c.), cuz I didn't even reach Marius reform, havent got a chance to command elite troops (armoured elles, silvershield pikemen, silver legionaires, syrian archers? (when where are they available?) etc). Btw I was able to make Parthia my protectorate muhahaha!

    Well Darth I really like your new winning conditions cuz AI has a goal of where to expand and cause I always get bored conquering 50 provinces , but I imo maybe you could increase victory province count from lets say from 18 to at least 25 (I would prefer 30) - that would mean that in my case as Seleucid Empire (also same for Ptolemaics, Pontus, Macedon Greeks and other factions who need small province count) it's victory conditions would be to recreate Alex the Great empire and would have a good chance to reach Marius and use elite troops.

    Seems good idea and could be optionial file till DarthMod 7.0 Final/DarthMod 7.5

    Nevermind problem solved
    Found myself how to edit victory conditions. In data/world/campaign/imperial campaign there is a file called smth like victory conditions, so I edited for all non roman factions to take 30 regions for victory (romans must take 50 cuz they have civil war etc), so that I could enjoy commanding high tech post marian units.     Well its working fine didnt notice any bugs or ctds. I just changed the number of regions a faction must control in order to win, didnt change regions that darth edited, cuz it makes AI to have a purpose where to expand. E.g. changed 18 to 30 for Seleucids (thats about the size of Alexander the Great Empire to recreate) and all non roman factions to make it fair. It gives a good chance imo for blitz player to reach marius reform and use all the faction elite units.

    P.S. Btw, where can I hire Syrian archers, they are merc unit right? Those guys look awesome and have 2 hp!

    I may consider changing it a bit as my friend Grand Duke Vytautas has seen working ok.

    As for syrian archers...play with them as more as you can bcs the 2 hp will not exist in DarthMod_7.5 (was a mistake of mine)
    You can hire them in Syria and some other regions around.
    Have someone had difficulty in hiring them?

    Yep I didnt hire any unit of syrian archers, wonder why is that maybe it's a post-marian unit?

    I noticed in my Scipii camapign that in north Africa there are no mercenaries... i did't encounter even Numidian Javelinmen!! where are the African mercenaries?

    Yes Pietrak, I noticed that too and also I havent been able to hire any merc units in my Seleucid starting lands, seems rather odd, only in barbarian lands hiring mercs seems to be ok. Will you fix this Darth? Txs

    Good Info there Grand Duke Vytautas and something that has been on my mind too.In My last Parthian campaign i only had 3 provinces left to capture and i hadnt even started to build Kardakes etc and was certainly nowhere near getting armoured camels.I've been dabbling with EB and RTR in the last few days but im coming back to DMod as its the best mod for RTW imo,i'll try that alteration you describe above.Many thanks.

    On the subject of mercenaries,i have mentioned this issue before.In my Parthian campaigns i have only ever seen Eastern Infantry be available for hire and only in the region around Susa.In around 6 campaigns i have never once seen berber or Arab cavalry type units anywhere in that region.I hope this can be rectified in the next version.
