    Default wtf is going on - general install problem

    Hi there,

    today i installed 2.0 and 2.1 afterwards. But there is no exe or bat with which i could start a game. Neither on the desktop nor in any folder.

    => ?

    Maybe important: If i want to start Kingdoms i get the message: Insert disk - while the disc is in the drive! I run setup from disc, press on any campaign and then the message appears.

    => I got no clue what is going on.


    Today i completely reinstalled everything. Now an "exe" appears on my desktop (ring), but when i click it i get that idiotic "insert disc" - message.
    Again: i got original Gold Edition (imo it is german version, as everything is in german), downloaded 1.5 german version, installed and then the begins.

    If you still have problems after this instruction let me know

    Edit: In that thread you can also find segaŽs fixed kingdoms.exe and the gold patch which youŽll also need!

    Edit 2: here is also a better way to deactivate UAC (just for the M2TW folder) number 3 in that post
