officers
how do i create new officer to a unit.
i know how to change differetn officer to a unite
but how do i create my own officer?? since officer dont have stat so i figure the only file i need are
uniforms
***.unit_variant. in variant models
atlas
and dds
i think the colum after unit IDRef is the officer
but what dose Unitform IDRef. faction and uniform variant do?
i've made a dds+ unit variant but how do i make a unit use them help
is there a totural on uniforms? or can some one explain how to make a costomer officer.

Re: officers
are you trying to create a brand new unit, or are you trying to replace the officer for an existing unit?

Re: officers
ok. So first find out the file name for the officer you're trying to replace. IE: inf_sword_katana_samurai_shimazu.
Uniform ID ref is the name of the unit. This is the same name found in the units'stats table. the uniform variant is the name of the "unit.variant' file you have replaced ie : samurai_inf_katana_samurai_shimazu.officer.unit_variant
Does this make sense?

Re: officers
this i know i want to know is how do i match the unit variant to the dds eg
VariantModels/UnitParts/Japan/heads/Noble_Head05/mesh", "VariantModels/UnitParts/Japan/heads/Noble_Head05/tex/texture
do i change the texture to
VariantModels/Units/atlas/****.dds?
and dose the atlas auto apply to the dds if they are matching names?

Re: officers
Ah.
Of this i'm not sure. I had a gander at the unit_variety mod data but i couldn't make much sense of it. Perhaps a PM to the author of that mod might help you out?
Sorry i couldn't be of more assistance
