    Default Centralised Recruitment Advice Needed

Hey guys, I seem to have this problem when centralised recruitment is ordered. Some light research on the BYG sub mod forum tells me that both the faction leader and heir can lead attacks on foreign lands, but only if the heir is a war council member.

But somehow when I captured a city with my heir he got Order: Summon slapped on him. Am I missing something in there? Is there a trait I am suppose to wait until he acquires to allow him to attack in foreign lands, or is he not allowed to capture cities, only attacking armies?

Great mod btw, really got me thinking and planning my moves

Is your faction leader very chivalrous or dread? If he issues orders to follow a certain code like chivalry and your Heir sacks a city or kills prisoners he will be summoned. Otherwise as long as your Heir has WC on the turn he attacks and doesn't transfer that authority away until the following turn he shouldn't be summoned.

Ahh, the poor (and POOR is the word) kid tried to make a quick buck by ransoming the enemy heir, that oughta teach him the evils of money

    Thanks a lot mate

Well said. For me, BGR IV is the only thing (this might sound a bit exaggerated, but that is how I feel) that really makes a difference in SS, and a major factor why I play this mod, and not any other.

I have trouble with BYG IV. I love it and hate it. I go from "this is damn impossible" and switch back to "man this is boring without BYG IV" Since I started out as HRE I haven't been able to finish a game =/

But yeah it sounds like you sacked a city when you should not have. I did that a few times and knew about it. When I wanted to take the island of Corsica and my heir and fl were fighting the English in the Low Countries.

You have to pay close attention to the FL's traits - that one has caught me a few times now when I choose to ransom troops And its a pain in the ass when it happens - suddenly stalling my campaign against an faction, once with catastrophic consequences.

It's hard for me to go back to other mods/TW titles now that I am so used to BGR - everything else seems a bit arcade-ish. It has given much more life to my campaigns as it can be so hard to manage large empires.
