Zamindari Swordsmen

I find Zamindari pikemen to be useless as pikemen( seeing as how they dont use them) so i would like to give them swords and shields.... how would i go about this?

Copy an equipment theme of a sword and shield unit, copy the animation record and change the melee_weapon to sword. Can be done in the Unit stats land.

Or you use my Pikeman Mod, which fixes the Problem of the nonused Pikes

I get a CTD when i do that. I'm not very good at modding.


EDIT: nevermind, forgot to take away their pikewall ability. lol

thanks. they do look cool with swords... I also changed the desert warriors so that they have scimitars.... i dont know if thats realistic, but it looks awesome!
