    Default Mod Foldered?

I quickly read through the information and couldn't tell. I did detect a few insinuations but I wanted to be sure about it? So is it a mod folder installation or not? Thank you in advance.

Hi Resef, welcome to the End of Days.

Yes EoD II is completely self contained and has an auto installer.

Let me know if you have any problems (so I can ask Mak to help you) and if you enjoy the mod. We don't get a lot of traffic around here these days so I'm keen to know if this mod has stood the test of time.

I've wanted to get around to this mod for around 3months (had to finish a few campaign's) I'm DL'ing right now but I'm sort of worried about the RS2 enviroments I installed awhile ago...will it still work?

That I don't know. EoD II is a BI mod so I'm guessing if the RSII mod is RTW it should have an effect. But I really don't know. I suggest asking Makanyane, she's more likely to know if this mod and that will conflict.

Well this mod has a lot of atmospheric effects which add to the immersion factor, you know when you're playing one of our mods, they look very different...

I scrolled through the custom battles list and I noticed that, and the changes you made probably conflict with the rs2 environments. I probably would have been happier just using the normal environments and playing what looks to be an awesome mod , thx for all the replies by the way

You can always reinstall RTW. It doesn't take long.

From my point of view, the atmosphere is simply unique...

Halie Satanus and team did a truly great job here!

I guess you guys are (mostly) superannuated and mere bystanders nowadays... but really, you should be modding or at least providing help and tips for others working at 'dark', atmospheric mods. Your ambience, units/modeling, sounds/music, 2d's and especially the texts are simply great. True, kudos!

There was only myself and Makanyane working on this mod (and EoD I). We sought advice on some things but by and large Mak tapped into modding powers most can only dream of. Makanyane is still modding, in fact she never stopped, though works at a more sensible pace these days. Mak and Wild Dog created some heavy program for MTW2 that allowed them to create castles for their mod, they also released the program which allowed others (most notably Third Age total war) to develop new buildings and settings..

After these mods we created '300 Warlords of Sparta'and I made Sicilia as a side project. I also helped out on Gods and Fighting men (MasterofNone's solo project) and then on Viking Invasion and Norman Invasion. After near 3 years of constant modding during which time I also worked on staff here as well as a number of stints on Hex I decided enough was enough. I'm not someone who can just chip in here and there, I get to involved and, to be honest, my real life needed some attention...

The aim was to make mods that were a bit different which I think we achieved.
