Hey, Brits, is Wilfred any good?

The show Wilfred has crossed over to the states (it's starring Elijah Wood). I just started watching a few episodes, and they were pretty good, but I was wondering if the series remained good?

Never heard of it, let alone seen it


Edit: Just looked it up. Its based on an Australian series, not a British one.

I absolutely love the US Wilfred. Amazing, funny show. Apparently the Aussie was is better and the comedy is a lot darker.

Eeem it's alright really.

Nothing wrong with it, but it's not amazing.

i'm not sure whether it's the american or Australian version in the uk, but theres some interesting storylines, lets say

Oh, I thought it was British, as one of the actors has a British accent.

But yeah, the show is pretty funny. I finally have something to watch comedy wise, besides South Park and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Watched a few episodes of the original series a few years ago. It was alright. I'm surprised it even gets airtime outside of Australia. Haven't seen the American version yet though.

I like the american version better,wilfred is played by the same actor in both versions,thats why he has the aussie accent,it just makes the USA version more ridiculas and funny.

Personally, I love the U.S. one. No opinion on the Aussie version.

Unfortunately, I haven't watched much of the US version but the few episodes I have watched have been pretty funny. I told my sister she might like it because it has a lot of dog jokes and she's obsessed with dogs...but I doubt she'll like the humor much. Dog rape at the veterinarian?

What makes it so funny is when wilfred(a man in a dog costum)acts like a real dog in certain situations,like the vet one.The one i watched the other day had him attack a vacume cleaner when he heard it,it made me crack up as the vac freaks my dog out to.

I watched 5-6 episodes of the American one, the idea is funny and some parts are ok but overall it failed to keep my attention.

The Wilfred character comes off as to cocky for my taste and instead of it being funny to Woods straight/loser role it comes off as annoying.
