What do you like best about SS?

What SINGLE thing in SS do you like and admire the most?
for me it has to be the AI, I love seeing Scotland sail forth onto northern France. I love the smart AI diplomats who actually debate with you, love seeing the rebels actually doing something and even upgrading their settlements. Love the fact the enemy army won't let me flank them without a fight.

But it's very hard to choose one single thing to like about SS haha, I love it all!

On a more serious note... I like SS' shininess. Correct grammar, nice faction symbols, loading screens etc. I'm a fan of shininess. Just if they would fix dat' Ireland xD

Certainly the AI. It's such a big step forward from vanilla, although improvements can still be made. The second thing would have to be the expanded map and units. The Khwarezmian Shahdom is now my favorite faction, as you can see

Me too. The sense that each faction is different with it's own strengths and weaknesses.

The whole thing is bigger and better and much more immersive than vannilla but my favoruite thing is probably the detail put into the factions so may be 'diversity' is the best way of putting it.

I love Real Recruitment....that certain areas yield diverse troops that make your armies more flavorful. I want to see even more diversity in the future!

i love how hard it is to get citadels and how happy i am when i get an early full chivalry general, with active builder trait and an architect ancillary ...
and it broke my heart when that game couldn't be continued because of having to switch the battle AI :-C ...

Everything... except RR, I could never muster the patience to play near 500 turns and get a unit that I can make maybe 6 times before the game officially ends

What I like about this mod (SS 6.4 + the submod compilation) is the fact that until now I did not find anything I did not like.

I love the expanded map, new factions, historical accuracy and the limits on huge cities and citadels.
