Cant get past the date 578 a.u.c?

Hi games been working great but it keeps crashing at the end of turn in 578 a.u.c
i have tried going back a few years to my backup saves and still
its unplayable and ctd's everytime over that date is there any thing
like scripted what can sort this problem out

Had this very same problem on my Roman campaign and, truly, not sure if I ever got an answer. Nonetheless I'm sure someone will help you out soon.

ok m8, someone please come up with an issue im just sitting here waiting for a reply so hopefully i can play again, if problem cant be resolved does any 1 have any suggestions what to do, i dont want to start with rome again then get up 2 the same date then ctd again

As this doesn't happen a lot, my guess is that the problem is a corrupted save. I have run into them myself, and had to go back in my saves until I finally found one from before the problem started. The problem is, you need to identify what the problem is. In my case, it was a 'frozen' army with a character I neither recruited, adopted, or married to anyone.....it just popped up out of nowhere, and was stuck on the coast near Epeiros. I couldn't move it, and if I tried to look at the
traits of the character it would CTD. I had no idea where the army came from, and just had to go back in my saves until I found one where that army was not there.

These are just RTW 'mistakes', most likely, and that's why I've always encouraged people NOT to use Autosave, and to save different saves often....very often.

I am assuming, of course, that you are playing an un-modded version of RS2?

yes i am playin un modded version of rs2, ok so ill go and disable auto save and hopefully it wont happen again

After having this numerous times I disabled auto save and leap frog my saves every few years. As in S1 and S2 and also my battles B1, B2.

I havent had a EOT CTD that I couldnt get past since.
