1. Latium is to be exempted from tax this fiscal year to ease the burden on farmers and encourage trading and growth.
2. The Senate shall fund the construction of an Agrarian Academy in Rome, the intention of which is to explore and improve farming methodologies as well as train highly skilled slaves and workers for seasonal farm work, ensuring that we have a surplus of experienced farm hands in time of war.
The cost for the construction of the Academy is 50,000 however the following Senators have pledged funds towards its creation.
- Aulus Ovidius - 6,000
- Lucius Amelius - 4,000
- Aulus Terentus - 10,000
- Lucius Titus - 4,000
- Aulus Junius - 3,000
- Gaius Marius - 3,000
The contributions total 30,000, the remaining 20,000 will be paid from the Treasury.
