Corrupted Launcher

For some reasons i got the RTRVII launcher corrupted.

Can someone provide me a screenshot of the launcher?
I'd to see how it appears.

You need the latest .net framework or something or buttons won't show any text

i had the exact same problem, check the size of the launcher. It should be 941mb, for some reason when i was downloading using chrome, it never actually finished the downloaads so i was getting partial files that were 400 and 500mb. I just downloaded using internet explorer and it worked.

The "RTRVII setup" i downloaded is 941 MB (correct) but, like PatricianS said, buttons on the launcher don't show any text.

We had this problem in the RS launcher, IIRC it comes from the "$BS_BITMAP" parameter at the end of a guictrlcreatebutton.

Someone know how solve this problem? I cant read anythink in the launcher.
I already installed last version of .NET Framework... But I didnt understand about this IIRC and "$BS_BITMAP"

When it doesn't work and you want to use the launcher I'd advise to reinstall the game. That might solve the issue

I'm on XP and I had launcher problems. It was to do with the Bitmap-thingy in the AutoIT script.

So I downloaded AutoIT, tweeked the script and got it working with the text showing on the buttons.

For the RTRVII launcher I'll try and attach a zip with my updates here.

Extract the contents into your Launcher folder (backup your existing Rome Total Realism VII.exe) and try it:

Use at your own risk etc

you could try to run game without launcher, using manual shortcut of BI.exe with this parameter -mod:RTRVII

yeah, my own launcher is corrupted as well in my win 7 laptop (my XP desktop is fine btw)
