nvidia geforce 8400 gs

is this good for empire total war (or napoleon) as i have it there is alot of lagg when in land battle (sea battle is good) the fps drops to 1 to 10 at maximum . these are the nvidia cards that are in my budget

XFX GTX285 1GB DDR3 500 bucks /3000 LE(wow this one is really expensive)

If those $117 are your budget, I would up it $8 and go NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, as none of those cards above you list can play ETW or NTW with out severe lag. Minimum ram for minimum lag is 1Gb.

Of the ones you listed, the XFX GTX285 1GB DDR3 is by far the best. Of the ones I listed, GeForce GTX 550 Ti is the best.

If you up the 9600 GT to 1gb, it can play it just fine.

thnx guys i got the nvidia galaxy geforce 210 2gb and it has mase my day now i can play the game on high and also the resolution of my entire computer became better like 10 times for 390 le (65 dollars) i also uped my rams to 3gb insted of 2

You'd have been better off with a 460 or if you don't have the cash, a 450. Anyways, if you can play the game, that's always good.
