    Shall the following amendment pass?

    Actus reparationis I

Pro-Consul- The senate may empower any member of its body with the powers of a Consul. Pro-Consuls shall be subordinate to Consuls but shall, when abroad, have all the powers associated with the office of Consul. All governors shall assume Pro-Consular power while governing and residing in their province, during this time Pro Consuls shall not be allowed to leave their Pro Consulate without prior agreement of both Consuls. These magistrates are responsible for paying the upkeep of any soldiers in their provinces and shall hold office for one year (two weeks). The Pro-Consul's primary objective is to maintain order in their designated province.

OOC: For the sake of clarity, and with the intention of everyone involved being in a state of harmonious understanding.

While I agree that changes like this should be brought to bear on the rules document, I don't think that the best option is through the game itself and in this one case my current position is to not support this change, however further discussion may change my mind. For now I think we should do all we can to encourage people in Pro-Consular positions to engage in RP with each other and I also think that people are putting far too much importance in the role of Consul.

If any elected official should be allowed to decide the terms such as these, it is the Censor.
