On September 16th an human rights violation will be unleashed on everyone, that being the latest edition of Star War according to the vision of George Lucas. http://www.tgdaily.com/entertainment...-complete-saga

All I have to do is let Darth Vader say what I want to say.

    Why George, why?

There is only one needed change and that is making the Phantom Menace's Yoda as a CGI one.

Unfortunately, as long as he owns the rights to the movies, he can do whatever he wants...And since they are 100% his creation, he can do whatever he want forever...until he dies. And then he'll alter that as well.

I don't mind the change to Vader saying "noooo", but I don't know exactly why it had to be added.

Well, I mean, I can guess:

*Episode III has been seen by millions."

SW Fan: Man, that was so ridiculous, Vader saying "noooooo" like a little girl.
Lucas: I wanted to show how after this moment, blah blah blah, shutup it was good.
    SW Fans: No it wasn't.
Lucas: Well then, I'll just insert it in my new Blu-Ray trilogy!

geez, mr lucas, can't you at least put some of the games into movies; i'd pay to see a KOTOR movie (the first one mind you)
and if you like money as much as your merchandising demonstrates, then you'll do as i ask.

Noooo! is not all that bad I would have assumed CGI to make Hayden Christensen appear when Luke takes off Vader's helmet...Perhaps making the alien in the MF with Lando a Gungin? Plus honestly Han Solo shoots Vader for just offering lunch that should have been altered.

I think that he should release a high definition version of the original trilogy without all the editing alongside with the edited version as a bonus.

They did with their last set of DVDs, but I'm not sure it'll ever go truly High-Def because of both the filming medium and story canon.

As for more star wars films. They may happen, but you can bet your ass that it will never be done with the primary characters. Personally I'd love to see other aspects of the Galactic Civil War that they weren't directly involved with.

I think this is pretty interesting, the orginal scores the old ones received when they first came out compared to the prequels when they first came out.

Tomatometer Scores for Original Trilogy During Original Release Dates:
(Click on the links for the archived quotes from Archive.org)
31% - Return of the Jedi
52% - The Empire Strikes Back
    79% - Star Wars
    Average Tomatometer: 54%
    And the prequels

Prequels Tomatometer Scores Based on Current Active Critics:
83% - Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
65% - Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
62% - Star wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
    Average Tomatometer: 70%
As you can see the prequels win.

Admit it OT lovers your under the influence of nostalgia.

So either you can't work rotten tomatoes or you were just lying.

EDIT: Oh I see what they were trying to say now, kinda. Doesn't really make sense though. If they aren't trusting modern critics to judge movies objectively then they are casting doubt on all critics, thus devaluing the entire website.

I'll just post this here, Lucas being Darth Vader, the whining fanboys being the black guy and the deal being altered being the original version of the movie:
“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.”

Overall, I don't think so. Mainly because of the environment. CGI locations look always clean, which is OK, for say... the cloning labs of Kamino, but in case of say smuggler dens (imagine Jabba's palace in CGI, doesn't work AT ALL imo), cantinas and the like (or nature... that fake looking grass on Naboo... shudder), far too clean to be taken seriously. And since CGI characters in handcrafted locations are next to impossible to do right now (no green-screen) I way prefer the more authentic, dirty and rugged locations, with dressed actors and animated puppets. There is also a certain charm to it.
Whatever it is exactly, I know I'd chose the Mos Eisley cantina-scene over Dexter's Cantina in EP2 any day of the week.

Idealy Star Wars IV,V and VI should be re-made into the style of the New Movies. Because they are better. This in not a troll, its honest opinion.

Ewoks, Luke Skywalker, Inconstant Plot and "Elite Clone Troopers" might work for the 80's. But for today I find them hard to watch. And I have seen the trilogy in the last few days.

    You jest - right?

Inconstant plot - allowing you are correct (debatable) that is still better that no plot.

Ewoks - well you are correct that Ewoks are risible and in them we see the seeds of bad movie making that become the prequel trilogy in total. The 'Solution' is really a massive CGI effort to put in place the the Wookie concentration camp and few escaped fugitives for the team to run into (or maybe a general slave labor camp and Han's underworld background is what convinces the ex criminals to support the attack).

Luke Skywalker - What compared to who the kid in Phantom menace

I actually still only watch the films on VHS. I got the boxed set trilogy on DVD and could hardly stand the additions that Lucas decided to add for some reason or another.

I think there's a reason why other people directed Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi
