    Default Enemy armies won't merge

    Hi there,

I'm playing with BC 2.3 (great mod by the way!) with Rusnmat's RBBR.
I started an Ayyubid campaign and I'm currently pushing against the Kingdom of Jerusalem. They have enough troops to form a few full stacks, but all they do is moving around almost empty stacks and they never seem to merge them. So what could be epic battles is instead just an infinite succession of easy unequal battles.

I'm not too familiar with MTWII (I played mostly RTW with Roma Surrectum), but ... is it normal ? Any mod that tried to correct that issue?

    Thanks!

That is just one of the many wonderful and annoying quirks of the AI : P. I once had to face 8 stacks of nothing but seige units all over the map and lots and lots of 2-3 unit stacks that never combine. Its been a problem in the game since day 1.

Yeah RTW was like that at the beginning, but mods like Roma Surrectum seem to have corrected the problem and I was only facing full stacks. I thought that maybe the same was achieved in MIITW. Nevermind, I'll use only half stacks myself and maybe it'll balance things out lol.

I don't notice this as a problem, only very rarely does some faction seem to have a collection 1 - 3 unit stacks hanging around. And in any case only seeing full stacks would not be good at all.
