    Default Reducing AI Bonuses?

    It just really bothers me the AI gets such increased population bonuses.

    Really takes away from the immersion when the best way to grow your settlement is to let the AI have it for a couple turns, but I digress.


    Anyway is there any simple way to decrease the AI population bonuses? I know very little about modding so I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not but any help would be very much appreciated

    I find it a plus because they would never ever think to stick a general in a city with chivalry or an architect, they'd end up with crap units. The only A.I. bonus that needs nixed is the Final Fantasy end boss style health (HP) of the general himself, the body guard is fine, but that one mother can slice through so many pikemen, spearmen, anything anti cavalry, he's got it beat by himself, I'm not even sure why he has a body guard.

    I don't want to completely remove it, just lower it a little.


    I just end up getting totally swamped by tons of full stacks as I prefer to slowly build up instead of playing aggressively so in some campaigns it just gets a bit irritating :/

    I play with Lusted AI on H/VH and those two projects in my signature - donīt really have that problem and like to expand slowly too. Also wouldnīt recommend to reduce the AI bonus, as itīs well balanced in my opinion. Great work StSt team.
