So im in a battle and the English send their medium cavalry to engage my spears, I chase them back with my own cav and decide to pounce on their vulnerble archers. The archers preform a fighting retreat into a snowed out forest. In this forest are stakes of death. In less that 4 seconds 300 hundred horsemen die. I cannot believe I let the AI just trick me like that. Or that it did that.

Try playing a custom battle as the Timmies against England (they defend) and spam eles. Stakes won't stop you. Nothing can stop you! MWAHAHA!

That mistake cost me the battle cause on vh vh troops don't like it when their general dies uncool like.

=( man, I wish that could of happened to me... not so much the defeat in battle, but seeing the English AI actually train significant portion of Cavalry and Longbowmen & DEPLOYING STAKES! never seen Ai do this...

seems like everytime I fight the english, all they ever have -- no matter how big/small they are,, Archer Militia, Spear Militia/Levy Spears, Town Militia, and a paltry few DFK's and/or Mailed Knights to top it off...

I wish the english were more like the Milanese in this game -- aggressive and training primarily the Faction unique units.

I'm quite impressed. I've only seen the AI do this once to me and it was an utter mistake and they were using my stakes (Don't ask), by the way you depicted it the strategy seems almost deliberate. I'm surprised and impressed, way to go, AI!
