More than 8 ancillaries per character?

Just curious if it's possible to increase the number of ancillaries (retinue) available to characters, or if it's hardcoded into the game mechanics.

With all the titles available to my generals, I'm finding it impossible to acquire new retinue or items from crusades or other events.
Would help considerably to increase the number limit, but that's just me.

I am unaware of anyone or any mod based on the M2TW engine allowing more than eight ancillaries, so I am assuming that this is hardcoded. On the other hand, I have no way to prove this either. You may want to search the M2TW tech support forum for this topic or post this question in that forum.
