Well the year is 192BC, and I have 28 family members. Even mostly on the defensive loyalty takes a hit on number of enemies killed. I currently control all of Italy + Mediolanum and Patavium and am besieging Lilybeon now for control of Sicily. I have also taken 2 provinces from Macedon for Senate missions. My dangerous generals are;
Quintus the Victor - 7 stars, 10 influence, Popular Hero, 10 Victories for Rome, Spectacular Triumph (This man has killed so many enemies of Rome that there is no count. This man is Worshiped by the people, and feared by the Senate that he has become the next Sulla).
Vibius Julius - 5 stars, 8 influence, Great Vanquisher, 10 Victories for Rome, Great Triumph (This man has killed at least 80,000 enemies of Rome, this makes him popular among the masses but feared by many in the Senate).
Amulius Julius - (Quintus' son) 6 stars, 9 influence, Vanquisher, Great Triumph
I started doing some testing with the loyalty and have had them revolt alone while building sentry towers, in command of a legion or while in a town. I tried putting them into a town to rebuild loyalty as
Hesus suggested in a thread from July but that didn't help. Someone else said Roman generals revolted all the time but I don't think it was as prevalent during this time period as it was later in the empire.
My question is does putting the general into a city where he is not the "managing" general help at all?
And do cities in Italy replenish loyalty any faster than say a city in Macedon?
oh and a sidenote I noticed an odd little tidbit left in the descriptions of so far every ship I have seen.
"This has been added for a code fix. Do not re-translate. Please speak to Luci." It's at the top of Pirate ships, bireme and trireme descriptions. Just an FYI. Mod is wonderful so far.
