AND IT WAS AWESOME!!! The most hectic and thrilling experience i've ever had in my 5+ years of playing total war games.

Playing as the Illyrians, overextended myself fighting against the Norici. Lost a key major battle and was unable to recover in time before they swept down and took my northern settlements (well reclaimed theirs )
While this was happening the Romans launched a sea borne invasion across the Adriatic, landing a full stack at my scarcely defended capital.

Lol, awesome mate! I'm glad your enjoying it!

Playing as the romans I sent a couple legions to keep the greeks in check. One got mauled to pieces because of inadequate cavalry support and the other was so badly beat up that I had to turtle up till reinforcements arrived. This set me back for a time till I could levy another legion. Lol

I suggest playing on M/M. We balanced the game on that setting, and it will still be quite a challenge to survive playing as the Massylii
