Recommend some lotr games?

Besides TATW, which is awesome, I know of:

LotR:TW, BFME, LotRO

These are the only ones I know of that are decent. Can someone recommend some more?

Also don't hesitate to recommend LotR mods for other games, like TLD for Mount&Blade for example. But again I don't really know of other games with lotr mods either.

I actually did enjoy Lord of the Rings the Fourth Age (or whatever it was called) the turnbased-jrpg-sorta game from the last generation of Consoles...

I liked the BFME games...and of course, how could I forget, The War of The Ring (the non-movie license RTS LOTR game) which I played to death...and then some.

It was Lord of The Rings: Third Age it was RPG that one was kewl i like it

You also have the one from EA called Lord of The Rings: Conquest, with is not a very good game, but you get to fight at the epic battles from the movies in "FPS".


My three favourite Lotr games would be:
1st: Lord of The Rings Online (MMORPG)

2nd: Third Age: Total War (Turn Based Strategy)

3rd: Battle For Middle-Earth (Real Time Strategy)

Other than those three most of the other Lotr games out there is kinda crappy and not something I would recommend. (IMO)

There's a game for The Game Boy Advance called Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. It's turn-based strategy game where you command troops at major battles from the books. You can play either good or evil. I really enjoyed it.

I have to agree on BFME (battle For Middle earth) which was an incredibly balanced multiplayer game and Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for the PS2 though it became kinda sad once your elf got those two powers (You know the one that revived you with full health and MP after you died and let you take your turn right after and the power that let you do two magic abilities in one turn, kinda made you invincible didn't it?)

Yeah I cant wait for that, just one more reason to be excited for skyrim!

Although it wont neccesarily be ported and will take a long while either way before its fully done.

You wont need to; they're porting it for Skyrim =P

Although they'll do one final Oblivion release the mod team are refocusing on making it work for the Creation Engine (Skyrims one) =)

Well the Lord of the Rings: The war in the north will be out soon on November 1st and it looks pretty good. And well if you want to play a game thats like Star Wars battlefront but 20x worse than you could play LOTR conquest.

3nd Return of the King
or total war modifications
1LOTR total war this one is really the best but because its RTW the graphics are pretty bad
2 Third Age Total War
3 Fourth Age total war (wait some time and the new version will be released with whole Middle Earth)
