    Default old cpu need help

    hey guys!
I have an old pentium 4 2.66 ghz cpu, and i was wondering if yall could recommend a gpu that would allow me to play m2tw( and wouldn't be a waste of money because of the extreme bottle necking) because my old intergrated graphics card (intel 82845g ge) won't run it. thanks in advance and please don't hate on my dinosuar.

The cpu will play M2TW very well. You need a dedicated graphics card IF you have a pcie x 16 slot.

Nah, everyone uses "GPU" for graphics card in this subforum

The main thing is you need to be sure you have a PCI-E slot for a graphics card, also how many watts does your power supply say it provides? More than likely you would need to upgrade your power supply at the same time which would increase your cost for the upgrade. Do you live in the US or elsewhere? (So I can link you to products on a relevant website)

I'm not quite sure how much power supply i have ( it's an 04ish dell so probably not much). right this second i don't have the time to check for a pci e slot or my power supply (i'm fixing my old chevy) ,but tonight i shall post it. Also, i do live in the u.s. (hot sunny florida) and thanks for your replies!

Would be easier if you list the model of the dell unit you have then a user can look up whats installed in it.

There is a sticker on there, back on a tower usually, usually on the bottom of a laptop.
