Here's a shot of my Getai empire. It's still in its infancy but progress has been steady. I plan to conquer the required settlements in order to trigger the reforms and then proceed for Greece

Whoa, the Spartans in the campaign are expanding really quickly. More than in mine anyways.

nice. very similar to my campaign but damn it i am almost broke

i have Phalera and Delphi yet to take. If/when i get them, i intend to build some forts around them ,stop my expansion and let my enemies come. may send off the occasional boatload to Italy or North Afrika to annoy the locals there. Like the Vikings.

lol .a decent building like a wall upgrade after a town grows is setting me back around 40G iirc. My income is about 60,000 and my upkeep is about 30,000 i think. I just like to build i guess.

I like to build too, only roads, and they are a lot cheaper.

Don't know why but infrastructure comes first in my campaign.

I don't war at the moment nobody, but the Arveni Kingdom is expanded aggressively and the reject my alliance offer.

Mybe I conqer to the northen free gall tribes and then go to war with the Arveni.

I'm playing as the Getai. I imediately attacked my allies to the east as I envied their coastal trade routes. I was weary of my neighbours to the south who were way too stong for me. I watched them closely and plotted. When I had built up a stong army I moved onto their land, they attacked immediately. I was outnumbered but I had a good defensive postion. After absorbing the brunt of their charge with my armoured spearmen, I waited for the right moment and counter-attacked with my falxmen. The tiring enemy fled and it became bloody mop-up situation. Now the Major town of OESCUS is free to be taken

Restarted with Macedonians.
I do not think i will take to long to fall apart ,ive conquered 2 provinces,invested all the 110.000 in trade infrastructues ,but since turn 1 i have started to have -10.000 in money per turn ,now im -4.000 ,thanks to some defeats .
I do not think its fair to have such big disavantage in money ,wend youre in one of the most complicated areas of the game .
But,i wont give up

I suggest using this map and editing it will a fill tool. It's easy to do. The idea for a map like this was CanOmer's but Muizer made a new one on a more accurate measure (CanOmer used map_regions, M map_ground_types).

I don't know if you resized the picture when you posted it but it isn't paintable anymore. Well you can obviously color it in but it doesn't fill in the edges. If you could put the original picture that would be awesome.

EDIT: I used a old alpha map someone made and recolored everything to be exact. Here's my Spartan Campaign on M/M before I decided to restart on H/H cause it was to easy. Epirus was in a real bad way
