Hmm, both Ram and CPU is a bit low, but it shouldn't be that excessive Corrupt download? What's the size of your installation file?
That is indeed a low spec laptop, Pann. To be honest I think that you would have trouble running RTRVII even if your laptop could extract the files. Do you have access to a faster machine that you could install on and then transfer it across?
I'd say that you'll need at least a 2.5 Ghz CPU and 1 Gb of RAM to have a fair stab at the game.
downloading now, looks great gentlemen.

I have download the RTR VII today and i want to install it but before i have some questions.
1). Is my Rome Total War & Barbarian Invasion versions ok! for this mod?
2). Do i have to install all the previous mods of the RTR before i install this one (RTR VII)?
3). If i have to install all the previous mods can you tell me the correct order of installation from the first to the last mod?
And give me a list of the links to download them?
4). Also if you can give me instructions step by step how to do this modifications.

Welcome to the forum Have some rep
1. What version of RTW are you using? The 3cd one, the 1 dvd one or the gold with BI included? Anyway, BI 1.6 is the correct patch.
2. Nope, only VII
3. see above
4. Install RTW and Barbarian invasion. Make sure BI is 1.6, you can see by starting BI, go into options and check the number in the corner. When you have confirmed that you have 1.6, and that it is working, Install VII. The installer should be directed to your RTW-main folder. Use the launcher and have fun
Hello my friend MasterOfThessus and thank you very much for the welcome and your answers!!!
I have the Rome Total War version 1.0 3cd game.
The Barbarian invasion is the 1.6 version.
I will follow your instructions and install the mod.
Thank you again for your help!!!
Why would anybody not use the torrent! I'm at 1.1 megs a second and rising.
Excited to try this out. Haven't played RTR since the versions that allowed the Marcus Camillus leadership mod. Ironic that as I come on here thinking of playing RTR I find that not only is there a new version just released but it includes a leadership mod exactly like the one I just can't stand to play without.
I'm excited to see how this one plays. All I know now though is that I don't have any familiarity with the names of 3/4 of the new factions.
Is there a way to get this and the normal rome total war at the same time?
If you mean - is RTR VII compatible with vanilla RTW? The answer is yes, RTR VII is modfolderd which allows you to play vanilla and any other mod that is modfolderd.
Hello ! Congratulation for this mod! I have an question for you all, is there anyone who instaled this mod but also have Roma Surrectum 2.0? I'm curious to know if there's any problem if I instal this without removing the RS 2.0 mod...
RS II overwrites the games original game files, so in order to play RTR VII or any other mod you need a clean install of RTW/BI.
Hmm it works but I reinstaled a clean just to be sure that i will not have troubles later when i will advance with my campaign. Thanks for your tips Finn !
It`s a cool mod, I love the campaign map it recreates very well the enviroment of my ancestors (the getae tribes), dense forests and accurate city names. I love it.
I had huge problems with the economy but luckly for me i had some loyalist revolts right when i was in a deep economicald depression
I'm going now to continue...probably i`ll start a second campaign with the romans I haven't seen all the units yet.
