Sounds really stupid i know.. screenshot help

hello all i have been trying for weeks evry now and then to upload screenshots to this site but im just not able. usually get small image of broken link. im no beginner and have no clue as to why this is happening im linking screenies on other forums no problems i need the following:-


-step by step guide on how to put screenshots here, and the site you are using
- tell me exactly what your clicking on


this is how im doing it :--

1) upload to http://imageshack.us/
2) left image size as 800 x 600
3)left label thumb as yes
4) upload now
5)i now have tried evry single link where it says 'links to share your image' into the insert image box here on TWC
6)i get this (dont know if u can see it, its a tiny box with a broken page) on every link i try , i have also tried other image hosting sites! (like 5 + at least)

i cant see any other way to link images here

sounds silly i know but i must be doing something wrong, though i tried evrything i know. thansk for your patience and time in advance

I presume you have an account with image shack?

1. Log in to imageshack
2. Click on 'upload image' in your pic collection page
3. Browse to your pic that you wish to upload and click on it.
4. Once the path appears and you do not wish to add more pics ignore everything else and click 'upload now'
5. Once your pic is uploaded you will get presented with a list of links, copy the one labeled "Direct link"
6. Place your cursor on the place you wish your pic to be and click the picture icon in the edit window of your post.
7. Paste the code from imageshack into the space of the little window that appears. Click OK.
8. Done.

Alternative (multiple upload)

1. to 4. as above
5. in your pic collection page click the 'i' icon next to the pic
6. in the new window copy the entry of the 'Direct:' line
7. Place your cursor on the place you wish your pic to be and click the picture icon in the edit window of your post.
8. Paste the code from imageshack into the space of the little window that appears. Click OK.
9. Done.
