Just wondering....................
Does the king have any influence on his respective faction?
Or is his influence in the city he resides in only?

In 6.4 there are some traits the faction leader gets that affect the faction. In BGR you get the "disobeys the sovereign" stuff. In the RR/RC Compilation, I am not aware of any such things. He's just a governor or general like any other. Only his Authority would ever affect anything.
What about faction reputation?
I thought if you had a King with a really high chivalry your reputation is more likely to lean towards reliable, whereas a dreadful King will push his reputation quickly towards unreliable... Any truth to that?

In my current campaign I've had chivalrous faction leaders for a long time and my reputation still sucked. Now I have a dreadful one, and there has been no change. But this is just one instance.
"A common misconception is that using spies/assassins will lower your reputation. Another states that the chivalry/dread of your faction leader also effects reputation. Both are not true."

Someone should change it so it says "affects".
Ah that wiki is really helpful. I totally thought the spies/assassins thing affected it too! So much for four years worth of misconception![]()

Don't feel bad. A lot of people still think Iraq had WMDs.
