Empire turned to chaos?

So I was playing my Khorne data (Chaos Undivided Mode) and I randomlly become allies with the county or stirland... And they get a Chaos Undivided flag as there new symbol... is this ment to happen?

I don't know if it is, but it is pretty funny and cool at the same time. It really could happen, with a traitor elector-count.

It's possible

Can't remember the triggers for that happening, but it could have been related to factionleader piety. But shortly, yes.

i think theres a random chance of it happening, it never happened in my save as reikland.

Yeah i've seen Nordland fall to heresy before now - its a fairly rare event - but for me as Middenheim quite a worrying one!! (well until I had an army in place

)

haha never seen this in my extensive averland campaign as emps, but i seen middenland (sp?) attack me (as elves) and then go to war with the rest of empire factions, resulting in a wipe for them within 5 turns

it shouldnt really be a big deal as long as averland isnt the one to fall to heresy. In most games i've played they always have a BEAST of a military by the time Archeron arrives. I shudder to think what it would be like if 20+ averland stacks turned chaos on me

I think it's related to percentage of Chaos cultists in the faction's settlements. I remember a few months ago a player complained that his faction had turned and was now being attacked from all sides, and he had over half his population as chaos cultists. The point is, this isn't vanilla M2 where you only gave a stuff about religion when it meant 1) missions from the funny-hat-wearing-old-guy, or 2) when it impacted on public order. usually you'd only need about 40-50% your religion to keep everything a-ok. In Warhammer, having anything less than 60% your religion (well technically, any 'good' religion, ie, Empire, Kislev, High Elves) is dangerous. Actually come to think of it, I don't know if it's possible for the Vampires to be turned... hmm...
