Well, i got roped into buying a ticket. The line up this year is pretty uninspiring. Basically, its full of flavour of the month indie-pop bands
The only highlights, IMO, are Pearl Jam, Muse, Primal scream and Audioslave.
To be fair, they've yet to announce most of the sunday bands, which is traditionally the more heavy rock day orientated day, so maybe it will improve. I'm still praying (in my own atheist fashion) that Tool will be announced to play just before Pearl Jam, or maybe even SOAD. Looking increasingly unlikely though .

Guess i could always flog the ticket on Ebay for £500!

    Anyone else going?

Here's the lineup, so you can witness its full mediocrity

I really hoping to go myself, havnt really worked out if I am yet...but there are some rather crap new-wave band days. But Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Muse, Arctics, and a few others should be ace. I just wish they weren't so spread out throughout the weekend. Hopefully Sunday will prove heavier

Well, festival starts this time next week. Anyone managed to get tickets?
I'm quite gutted that Audioslave have dropped out, but the addition of Slayer to the bill has more than made up for it, (as well as Mastodon).

I was hoping to...no luck though, my mates couldnt make their mind up about going. Then again, the lineup is pretty bad to be honest. Shame really.
