Default Question from a n00b *no spoilers please*

    Hi Chaps,

First off let me say I havn't finished the first book yet but im loving it so far and im kinda doing the same with the series as I havn't finished that either.

My question is would I have to read to a certain level to avoid anything spoiling anything that happens in the books?

    Thanks for any help

I think after reading the first book you should be relatively fine.

Personally i would take no risk, though, and would read the whole first four books before playing the mod. At the moment the mod is just an alpha and it just isn`t worth it to spoil your fun reading the books.

Thanks, im cracking on reading the books just now so i'll probably just give the alpha a miss and wait for the first version to be released.

    Thanks for the help

I'm pretty sure the loading screens have some quotes from later installments of the series.

I would definitely agree with Lordinquisitor, don't play it until you are at the very least halfway through a feast for crows, preferably finished with it. There are some quotes that are pretty big spoilers, one of which ruins the greatest twist in a Storm of Swords. As good as the alpha is (and it is good), it just isn't worth ruining the sheer awesome that comprises Martin's books. Enjoy the books dude!
