Really nice mod, just have a question regarding the musician... as to why the have different color sleeves/ arms... i am a stickler for detail so this is why i ask?
...
Looks really good, i am playing LME_ NTW at the moment but i may give this a go... do you have a run down of the contents of the mod... unit etc.

My grandfather was a hero, modest, quiet and wounded twice, in hand to hand combat at Casino Italy.
Usually, musician had a coat with opposite colour to the troops.
For instance in the French cavalry (before 1812), if the collar and cuff of a dragoon regiment were yellow the the bugler had yellow coat instead of the green coat of the dragoons
The first pages contains details for the factions which have been finalized (France and Britain). Other factions will be completed in due time, once they are done
Hi mate yeah i see what you are saying, however i already knew that as i use to be a pro, 15ml Napoleonic figure painter, i know that before 1812 most line musicians but not all (as they did vary greatly from unit to unit) would have had reversed facings, apart from the guard, but after 1812 most if not all had a uniform green coat with imperial livery. what i noticed is that you have variants on the arms , sleeves where it looks like (fill color in photoshop has not been used... i know this as i have moded many units... I am just a stickler for detail. I notice they have the same in LME_ mod... this is not a criticism as the mods looks really cool rather a aesthetic observation. These are some of my figures...
My unit is the far left one based on osprey books research.

And the images I've shown were you can see the musicians are for Britain anyway, so the Bardin regulation doesn't really apply.
And there is another important thing to keep in mind : we are limited by the number of textures available in the atlases. So we have to do some compromise. L'Aigle is doing is best to fit many uniforms in our atlases, but it's not possible to include all the variations, especially for the musicians. We can include only 2 to 4 different musician uniforms on an atlas.
For Britain, l'Aigle managed to fit 92 different units (with officiers, troops and musicians) in only 2 atlases and a half.
And also, adding new uniforms take time. We could add all the variants of musicians, all the tiny details, all the regimental colors... But then the mod would require several DVD and years to complete. I'm not even sure the engine won't explode at some point.
So... we included some variations for the musicians, we can't put them all.
if needed i can help with danish...
Wow, this looks great!
Gentleman, this look´s serious.Great work you do.If some testing in gameplay needed i´m in(have a lot of free time these days).Wish you the very best in hope of a soon release.
This looks magnificent. If you could also incorporate accurate portraits for generals/politicians, it would make it amazing. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to use it for quite some time until I have a decent computer, though.
JVSTITIA REGNORVM FVNDAMENTVM
Hi Steph.
I´m very happy to see that still after years there are big interests in modding of this great game.(some do it as hobby for otherone is it more like sickness)but anyway thanks god for people like you.I would like to ask you some questions or call it ideas if you want.
1.What i really hate in the campaign is that every big nation has only one immortal general(Napoleon,Blucher,Wellington...).Understad that generals are very easy to kill even if you dont want to kill them one unlucky shot and his gone.So maybe it would be better to make more generals immortal at least the famous one.Are you planning something like this in your mod?
2.It would by a great thing if you can implement maps from historrical battles into the campaign map.Example if you are going to fight in the Moravia region you would fight on the Austerlitz battlefield and so on...
3.Sorry if i have oversee something in the first pages but what about the navy? Are there gonna be changes too?
4.Are you two thinking of implement 40 units in the recruitment for each faction?Would it be possible to implement the Albtraums unit cards mod which allows to see 20-80 unit icons on the panel. It would by great if you can use some of his work in your mod, such an effort is a crime to throwaway.
Thanks.Yours sincerely Andre J. Jassoch.
