Gnaeus Ascotius Verus
Age: 45
Former Centurion of recruitment office in Rome

Hailing from the etruscan founded city of Capua, the former military man and a centurion of trainig facility has decided to make his way into the senate of Rome. Backed by the old lines of his family of slave traders and his (albeit relatively peaceful) career in the legions have granted him a place of some influence in Rome.

Contrary to most members of the military, Verus prefers to ponder upon the decisions placed before him and taje his time to reach a conclusion that he thinks is right. But as mentioned, that is his preference, and he is not always given such a luxury. Being a proper Roman, he considers his word as binding, and is hesitant to make promises he can't assuredly keep.

While his family estates in Capua are something worth bragging over, the villa he stays in Rome is modest at best, but not lacking in servants slaves, due to his connections to slave trading relatives. He also has a few free romans at his beck and call as personal retainers. Quite the upstart new senator wannabe.
