How many of you have recieved this mission?
I have never recieved so many missions in any campaign as much as this Makurian campaign.

I have, love those kind of intrigues. Forces you to make a hard decision. Do it in order to win great favor with the new ruler and a nice sum of money, but risk immediate war if you fail (which is very likely with the new weakened assassins). Or ignore it and watch your relationship with that faction tank.
Never received it... Would love to. I'm about to attempt regicide on my own since the Armenian princess is married to my faction heir... Just have to get rid of all those above her in line of succession... By the way, isn't it possible to implement a script that tells you your "number" on another country rulership? Or at least visualise other factions FM??
Cheers...
You should try a Makurian campaign, I'm getting a mission almost every turn!

I got that mission often in vanilla. I can't remember if I got it in BC. I like those missions, because it gives you a suggestion what to do next and it still doesn't limit your freedom. Succeeding will bring some cash and good relations, but it is not a reason to trust that faction. Vice versa.
That is a good mission if your metagaming and/or writing an AAR. How do you get it though?
Good question; I never get missions like that in say, Stainless Steel 6.4, for example.
I don't know, I've never really recieved many missions as other factions in BC, but I begin playing a Mkurian campaign and BAM! I get missions almost every turn, one to blockade this port, take out that merchant, etc.

I only had one assassin with about 5 points when I got this mission.

maybe its a way the developers used to give Makuria additional source of money and power. These missions usually appear when u win many territories of an enemy faction and then cease fire. At least that's the case for me
It's a mission from vanilla. I've stumbled upon it. You need a really experienced assassin to kill their faction leader.

EB II is finally out! ...NOW!!!...
I got this mission when I was playing as the Abassid Caliphate. I had a rank 8 assassin and was given a mission to kill the emperor of the huge Roman Empire. Unfortunately, he failed, causing the complete annihilation of my kingdom.
Fortunately, I made a quick save 15 turns before that.
