Mods with non-purple Byzantines?

Are there any mods that do not require Steam which have non-purple Byzantines? I do not mind the purple flags but I would prefer a less jazzy dress code.

In Deus Lo Vult they're brownish rather than Purple

In Stinless steel, each unit has its own colour, but they are still a bit purple.

The Byzantines have to wear purple. They are huge fans of Prince.

If you're just looking to change their apperance on the battlefield, you can try searching in google for either =
"DG's One Faction at a Time" should be an old forum on this site, in the 'released mods' section -- the one with skins and minor mods, not the 'Hosted Mods' -- he made one for Byzantines and Russia, but only the Byzantines was released to the general public. Changes the shields and armor, a lot of the mainstream mods use this one...I don't like it too much because unless you're playing with Maxed out Graphical settings, it doesn't have the detail and crispness of Vanilla skins (many of the skins out there are like that, just kinda dulled out a bit )

"Tyrian Purple Mod" -- this is an older mod, prolly from 06 or 07, alll it does is change the standard purple of the soldiers, shields, and mounts, etc from that bright pinkish purple in Vanilla, to a more organic darker type of purple -- this one is really good, simple looks nice. This is the one I use.
