    Default Modding with Steam

I bought my version of Rome:Total War over Steam and I want to update it to one of the mods, maybe finally see Roma Surrectum 2. I know where the game files are held and I remember modding the game the first time I had the game, off the normal install.

Has anyone else modded a Steam version of Rome: Total War? I don't want to try and accidentally wind up ruining my game files.

Actually modding with steam is better as you can verify integraty of game cashe.

The game files are identical. The only difference is that the -nm -show_err -mod:******* stuff goes in the advanced options box under properties, and that you have to run as admin as steam saves in Program files.

Just follow the instruction for steam install on the main download page. I know there is one for RS, but if there isn't on any other mod, just post in the forum and they'll help you.
