    Try grouping them.

kamazamiko, make them retreat after they charge. They'll be able to charge again.

Unfortunately (for anyone that wants it) it's a complicated process to get them working the way they do in vanilla.

Horses are so annoying aren't they!

The Danes, I swear, with their half arsed attempts at a 'war'. You gotta give it to 'em, they just dont stop trying. Listen, I've fought the Timurids, ever heard of them? Elephants with cannons on their backs. Yea, Timurids. You guys are like kids on tricycles compared to them. -REZ

No honestly, horses in the game are based on Jeremy there. We think he's a good example of the pranksters that medieval horses were. Many renowned jesters were in fact horses, little known fact.

It's just a shame the engine isn't up to showing what they can really do

Perhaps we can create a system of traits to showcase these hijinks. Itching powder in suits of armor, whoopie cushions on royal thrones, and piles of manure in the feasting hall. HI-larious! My favorite is when the horses go charging full speed toward a line of enemy pikes and just stop ight before contact, throwing the knights forward off the saddle....wait, nevermind....

lol the thing that i was hoping when i got this game was that knights can unsaddle in the middle of a battle game so that they won't be massacred by pikes lol

Yes, that is a feature from the original M:TW that many players sorely miss. Dismounted Knights still exist...but they take up an extra unit slot in the army and it's just not the same. But, as always, the advice anyone will give you: use the zany horses to ride AROUND the pikes and hit them from behind where they're not pointing the sharp pikes. I know, easier said than done sometimes, but such fun when achieved.

    TQ
