Medieval Gold: Appcrash

Hello,

whenever I try to tun Medieval Gold with Vista 64 bit I get an appcrash right after clicking on the exe.
I tried admin mode + compatibility modes but that doesn´t help.
I have the 2.01 patch. Video card is geforce 8400GS.

Any ideas?

Hm try to change resolution or refresh rate.
Also try Redux mod. It has some changes and it can work.

Oh wait, it does work with windows NT comp mode

I tried all modes except that one and win 95

But it wouldn´t be fun if it would just work now! In the options menu, I can´t change the resolution. The slider does nothing. So I´m stuck at 800*600 and 640*480.

Try this to fix the resolution issue.....
Type MSCONFIG in your start bar
Then boot option
Then advanced option
See the tab maximum memory...check it and put 2048 as your max memory.
Click ok then restart your pc.

This worked for me and im running windows 7 64.
