I will vote for Russia because of the horse archers and Armor-crushing axes and bowmen which can counter even infantry and elite cavalry

It“s a hard one... but I guess I“ll go with... Venice.
They have a crappy starting position, but are great at mostly everything else, which makes for exciting campaigns.
Also, due to their spread-out position, you have ample opportunity to set up a colony empire, which also makes for exciting campaigns (in fact, you technically start off with a colony from the beginnning: the island of Crete.)
However, Russia, France, Denmark, Moors, Spain and England are also way up there.

The Byzantines cause there's nothing better then reclaiming those errant lost provinces.
I don't know...
I like France because they have an awesome roster (chivalric knights, lancers, aventuriers, scots guards, ...),
but I like Milan too, because they have an awesome economy (rich italian cities in the beginning, no castle necessary, cheap and quickly accessible troops (genoese crossbow militia FTW), ...).
Anyway, I can't vote, so it doesn't matter x)
Tie between Scotland, France, Holy Roman Empire. I would like the the Byzantine Empire but I'm sorry they're units are so boring.
My favourite is France . They have extremly good rooster ,Lancers and Scots Guard I love these guys![]()

Sicily, the Vikings of Southern Europe and North Africa. starting on an island(though with a land bridge) and Southern Italy, you can expand anywhere, into Greece and Turkey, Iberia, North Africa, northwards into Italy, Egypt, The Levant, etc. the possibilities are endless and they're all very quick thanks to naval access.
I would please fellow players who vote for England and Venice (second player 4 Venice) to tell us why did they choose that faction
Voted England because I'm English and it's always a pleasure giving the sweaties a good slap and regaining rightful control of the English Isles
Honourable mention for the Moors![]()
My favourite faction would be denmark some really cool looking units and good starting positionto either expand into central europe and england for good trade

Byzantine Empire all the way
Most Chivalrous commander 2020-2021
Bozzy i also like Denmark cuz of their axemen (i love war axes)
I know mate they would scare the pants of me if i see a field of them running at me lol
Whereas you'd probably be rolling around with tears of laughter if you saw a bunch of plonkers in pyjamas with lollipops shoved down their backsides charging you.
Ayup..its the Aztecs!![]()
Lmaowas gonna say all it would take is one man with a tooth pick to scare me anyway
i aint the bravest man out there fireright lol

Portugal, they are one of the most powerful (if not THE) once you learn to play with them, which most people don't. Also, most people hate them either because when played by the AI they suck, or because of their difficult start. But they later have one of the most balanced and powerful rosters of all, both on the sea, cannons, and melee and gunpowder units. Even more powerful than Spain. In short, Portugal is a faction to be played by people who know what they're doing.
