    Default DarthMod and Squalor

I want to ask one thing: did you mod the squalor settings? I always get after some 20 years in my major cities (the ones I have from the begging) circa 70% squalor and 40% unrest factors... even if I keep the taxes low/medium. can you give a tip how to keep squalor low in your mod? May the Force be with you... (I know it's the traditional saying of the Jedi and you are Sith... but I don't remember the Sith Code, o Sith'Ari)

My able Pietrak...I recall these words when I used to follow the good side of the force....weak days

Anyhow what I have modded is the actual rebel activity in most towns.
These towns will be really difficult to control if they have different culture and few happiness/law buildings.
So that makes it difficult to conquer a town unless you massacre the population....I know, too dark side thing but vital it seems.

yes, I noticed that. I played as Scipii and had to massacre Syracuze, Lylibaeyum, Caralis, Carthage and many other cities. but the high unrest thing happens also in Capua and Messana (when I play as the Scipii).

@Ahlerich: You have the starwars perception I see....Impressive ....most impressive (lol you made me laugh)

@Pietrak: Indeed but one thing you should do in these situations is to leave a governor to big cities. they will handle the situation with the good or dark side (They randomly get attributes of happiness or military law). I intented to produce this difficulty.
It is quite realistic to be forced to use a governor to important large towns so as to control situations.
The bad thing is that you must create 3-4 good governors to handle these situations and also produce kids with these attributes.
Then have 1-2 to wage your expeditions.
I think it is good to have this kind of difficulty in a strategy game than a linear 1-2 subjects thinking campaign.

Also if you play to VH campaign this gets more seriously obvious. A hard setting is a good setting for DarthMod challenge with good probability to win.

personally, I only expand when I have an extra family member. When one is ready I try to send them to a city with an academy until they're 20 years old, then they can begin service. This way, every one of my cities always has an intelligent governor, and along with keeping the people in line, it helps limit my expansion, giving my faction more of an "empire" feel to it.

Well, having a governor with big managment is easy, just send him to a city with a academy... but happines increases when a governor has a lot of influence. I have a governor with 9 managment scrolls, wich generates HUGE income, but he has no skills and traits that increase happines. in overall, it goes like this: the new family members, wich have at least 1 command are send to the front lines, in order to get more command. those with managment, go to my capital, where I consturcted a Ludus Magna - after a few turns a have a 6 managment governor
