Problem with moving troops (vanilla)

It's not a bug,but i can't order my units lie up perfectly,first i select them all,and rigt click where i want them to go,and drag the cursor so i can choose how wide will they be spread.But instead of going (marching), they ALL line up in one line,cavalry,infantry,missiles etc ...and when they march,they screw their march up(lol) cuz they go out of the line,i saw the AI do it perfectly :S

could smone give me some tips?

You're not stupid at all.

You need to group the units. Line them up as you want them, then put them all into a single group. When you want to move the group in formation you can simply drag your cursor across where you want them to see where the whole formation will finish.

The units still travel at their different speeds though, so if you have cavalry in the formation, they'll reach the destination before the infantry.

After you group your units, also select formation. That way you'll be able to line them up more easily.
