The Fourth Age Development Team will be answering public questions about The Dominion of Men and their experiences in modding here at TWC in early September. This is an excellent opportunity to post questions in this thread (or PM them to MasterOfNone). The deadline is Friday September 2nd. No, the questions will be answered by others (mainly Aradan). I am not actively modding (though I've done a little for DoM). I'm supporting FATW in a number of "auxiliary" areas, but have little time these days. One of those areas is the PR side of things, hence this post

My Questions...

DOM has not been released yet, but the RTW engine is getting old & I was wondering if the team plan to do any further spin-offs in future utilising this same engine? Personally, I love the Elder Days and would love to see a mod done with the same level of detail as FATW for the War of the Jewels. My own efforts have been largely aborted due to lack of expertise & time...

I'm sure I'll come up with some more questions, but that's the first one

Do you mean follow a different process when creating the mod in general or create "feature X" differently (eg, change the recruitment system, or use faction X instead of faction Y etc)?

Either would be fine, but my intent was to ask you whether you would make FATW in a completely different way from the ground up.

How many (if any) new units with the returning factions be given? Or will the older units just be tweaked?

I have some specific questions about the Elven roster, but I don't know if those are the types of questions you guys really want given the policy of 'wait and see'.

However, I do want to ask if the clipping on the barded horses will be fixed. (Rohan Bodyguard, Dunedain Bodyguard, etc)
