    Default Changing a factions behavior!!

are you tired of factions such as gaul, carthage, macedon, armenia, selucia, dacia and thrace just sitting around doing nothing!

or are you tired of the backstabbing brittains, germans and romans?

well I sure as hell am

thats why I made the trouble of finding out how to change a AI factions strategy!!!!

in 3 simple steps you will be able to change these tactics

    1) first go to your descr_strat file
    2) search for the faction you want to change
    3)
you will see something like this
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    faction germans, balanced mao
    denari 5000
    settlement

this is the tactics the campaign AI will use, the germans as you know are backstabbing mothers
well by changing it to something like: trader henry
you will see less backstabing but still alot of expansion

after you've done the change just save it and run the game.

    IMPORTANT!
you can't put random names instead of the factions original campaign tactic,
you have to search for the faction who's tactic you want to use to replace another factions tactic. so It's good to know what tactics the AI uses for the diffrent factions by heart before you try editing them

There's already an entire tutorial on this in there, or perhaps its in the wiki, which includes all acceptable choices that can be used for each of the two words. And despite what the OP says the change in AI behaviour is minimal and basically not noticeable.

You can give them the abillity to do more naval invasions by editing descr_sm_factions.txt,
    prefers_naval_invasions yes

This works just for a few nations, like the greek cities.
