Galloglaich Mercenaries. Once saw a pack of them running towards some Feudal Knights I had sitting idle so I thought "stupid AI, he's just lost that unit" and put the Knights to charge them.

I put my attention to another part of the battlefield and came back to the knights a few seconds later to see they were routing. I was puzzled by this for ages until I saw the Galloglaich unit card and the fact they have a charge skill that is over double what Feudal Knights have. Ever since then I've got a grudging respect for those guys =)

Dismounted Huskarls!
They go berserk with their armour piercing axes and scares enemy infantry, both a perfect match against the heavy elites of other factions. Plus, they´re relatively cheap and available early.

I also enjoy Dismounted Druzhina/Boyar sons, but they´re basically the same except for the scare.
